HISTORY

I began my career as an environmental consultant in Puerto Rico in 1997. In 2008 revenue declined significantly due to the housing bubble collapse. As economic challenges and political instability intensified, opportunities in my field became increasingly limited. I diversified and formed a non-profit organization and joined a federal conservation cooperative where I worked on climate change mitigation  and adaptation. Until the Trump administration cancelled the cooperative and all climate change grants. In 2020 I started working as a utility arborist. In 2021 recognizing the need for broader professional growth and stable platform for my career I relocate to California. I knew about California strong commitment to environmental protection and rigorous and comprehensive review process of development projects.

Personal Values

  • Sustainability – I believe every project should respect the balance between human needs and the natural world. Long-term solutions matter more than quick fixes.
  • Integrity – I approach my work with honesty and transparency, ensuring that clients, communities, and the environment are treated with respect.
  • Resilience – My own journey taught me the importance of adapting to challenges. I bring that same determination to helping projects succeed, even in complex regulatory or environmental landscapes.
  • Community Focus – Environmental work isn’t just about regulations or permits — it’s about people. I strive to support communities by protecting the resources they depend on.
